CAMPULUNG MOLDOVENESC

Words for the tourists… |
I am lucky to say that I grew up on a wonderful side of this country. A peaceful little city that seems to be lost in a time submitted to other physical laws. Nowadays, after the years have passed, I know for sure that there, in that place, time is passing slower… The city trembles in a corner of the county embraced with love by the mountain and Bucovina’s fir tree forest. I will confess to the web virtually traveler that this place deserves its praises. Placed alongside Moldova Valley, across the rivers that bravely cross the nearby mountain, this city carries a grace difficult to describe in words. As in every love story, to love it is to understand it. To understand it is to feel it in a summer day or in a silver winter morning. You must at least once cross it’s forest, to pass its roads, to walk 2 or 3 times along main street, on Mondays to go to the market, to climb to the skiers cottage and admire it from above. That is what you can do in Campulung Moldovenesc. Here is a map of Bucovina’s monasteries. Use Campulung as a starting point for your journeys.
